10mm-70mm trees are most suitable for 15mm scale figures.

70-150mm trees are suitable for all scales.

However 105-150mm trees are more suited to 25mm scale figures.

N.B. this doesn't apply to Palm Trees which are sold in Ratios

I.E. 15mm figures are approx 1:115 or 1:100 Palm Trees are the nearest in scale.

These conversions are for approximations only, due to the hand-made nature of the trees.

Frank Crenshaw has created a clever little tool that will be handy for any modeller who ventures beyond the boundaries of kit instructions. It is an automatic calculator of scale measurement.

The tool allows conversion of scale measurements to full size, full sized to scale or one scale to a different scale. The user inputs the known measurement and the scale, and then requests the conversion in the scale of his/her choice.

A wide range of units of measurement are also provided for - from millimetres to miles - and the calculator will convert into a different unit of measurement (ie X millimetres in 1/48 scale = Y feet in 1/1 scale).

Frank has generously supplied the tool for free download to HyperScale visitors. He simply asks that the programme not be modified or inserted into another programme without his prior permission.
